Felt the sudden urge to cg again after Anime North, so here I am trying. The transformation from intial sketch to final colour always amuses me.

WIDTW May 20th

This week: A pleasantly insane decision to go to Centre Island with S. on the height of the long-weekend crowds. We had quite the encounter with some swans and a tourist boat. Later on Victoria day, patio food and drinks were consumed before we set off a lot of fireworks and acted immature. It was a pretty awesome time.

WIDTW May 13th

I’ve been so restless this past week. It’s been an endless stream of rushing out to see sights and then rushing downtown to go to work. I haven’t slept past noon even one time!

This week: Lunching in Chinatown with gorgeous lighting and a trip to Canada’s Wonderland where we took on the all-new and (surprisingly) super-enjoyable Leviathan.

When sorrows come, they come not single spies but in battalions.

Surely I’m not the only one who feels anguish, sorrow and despair. Hopelessness even. But most of the time it sure gets lonely in my mind.

WIDTW May 6th

This week started with a visit to Sharon’s house, where I discovered what is quite possibly the best pop up book and the softest rug ever. On Wednesday Michelle, a friend from China, came to visit with her Dad. The rest of the week was spent showing them around town. I took a good shot atop the CN Tower.

WIDTW April 29th

This week was an emotional roller coaster that had more than one extreme drop. I’m glad that everything is okay now. I wasn’t able to take many photos because I just started my internship. The office and the work have been treating me very well, but I need some time to adjust to my new schedule. Taking my dslr to work is kind of taxing, but I will faithfully try to document more.

This week: girl’s night out at Hooters and what has been dubbed the “supermoon”.

WIDTW April 22nd

My apologies for stacking posts just a week into the WIDTW feature, the recent week has been tough and I really appreicated all the support you guys have shown me.

This week: lunch dates to catch up with friends and a visit to TooGood Pond-Park that resulted in making many aviary acquaintances.

GET BACK TO WORK

I have the most encouraging friends, thanks Dallas.

I’ve been emotionally and physically run down all weekend. Life, just like school, seems to be a tractor trailer running me over repeatedly. I’ve gotten maybe 12 hours of sleep in the past 4 days.

Currently I’m at my internship. I’m just gonna take the advice of the people that care for me and power through the day. Work comes first. I need to take care of myself and not be such a wreck.

Lend me your love guys.

WIDTW April 15th

Hi everyone! This is gonna be a new installment on my blog called “What I did this week” or WIDTW where I make a photo-journal of sorts about the shenanigans I get up to. Each post is titled after the Sunday that commences it.

This week: a visit to Magic Pony and Narwhal with adventures on Queen street and the start of my herb garden.

Fingers crossed before I head off to my oral exam for French. Extra make up effort for extra confidence boost.
I really miss Epik High circa remapping the human soul

I lived by their discography for two glorious years. I wish they would make more  music together.

first year things

re: I am an international bachelor of business administration candidate at the Schulich School of Business. I go to York University.

My first year in university has come to an end and I feel the need to reflect upon it. School rarely got overwhelmingly hard, but somehow I still found plenty of time to mope about my hangups. Now that I am a full school year wiser, I don’t feel any different. I don’t feel like I’ve gained any quantifiable skills, unlike my arts/science major friends. But I guess it’s alright; just keep on keeping on.

How was your school year?

Somehow playing around with my lens and cleaning my room took precedence over studying for the exam I have tomorrow. Creamy backgrounds is my everything.
